Zimbabwe & Namibia
The history of cooperation between Zimbabwe and Namibia dates back to our shared struggle for independence from colonial rule. Namibia gained independence from South Africa in 1990 and Zimbabwe achieved independence from British colonial rule in 1980.This common history of liberation movements has helped foster a strong bond between the two nations.
Trade and Economic Relations
Zimbabwe and Namibia have engaged in trade activities to boost their economies. However, the volume of trade between the two countries has been relatively modest compared to other regional partners. Both nations have sought to enhance economic cooperation through trade agreements and joint investment ventures.
