The Embassy is the official representative of the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Namibia, charged with the important responsibility of promoting, protecting, and safeguarding the political, economic social and cultural interests, image, and influence of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Namibia.
The Embassy’s other key function is to protect the interests and safety of Zimbabweans in the country of accreditation. The Embassy also provides consular services to Zimbabwean nationals resident in Namibia and promote their engagement and participation in the country’s national development initiatives.
Zimbabwe acknowledges and highly values its relationship with the Republic of Namibia. The strong bond of friendship between the two countries dates to the days of the struggle for independence from colonial rule. The Embassy will continue to nature this mutually beneficial relationship through strengthening and deepening cooperation in all areas, including business and trade.
Zimbabwe offers diverse and lucrative investment opportunities in sectors such as agriculture, mining, manufacturing, tourism, infrastructure development and various services. The thrust of the Second Republic is to transform, industrialize, modernize, and uplift the lives of the people of Zimbabwe towards the attainment of Vision 2030 of an empowered and prosperous Upper Middle-Income Society.
